New Foundation Starters September 2026

Welcome to William Levick! We are very excited that you are joining our lovely school.

Some keys dates for the diary

On Tuesday 21^st July, we have a special ‘Stay and Play’ session at 10:30am until 12pm where your child can come and play in their Foundation Stage classroom/ outside area.
Then you are invited back to school to join your child in a Teddy Bears Picnic at 12:00pm,

Applying for a school place September 2027

The dates for our open morning/ evening will be published here after the summer holidays. Please read our 'Why Choose William Levick' document to give you a deeper insight into our wonderful school and why we are so proud of it.

Applications for your child to attend William Levick Primary School should be made through Derbyshire County Council. The link for the application website can be found by clicking here.

For applications to move to the school 'in-year' (for example if you are moving to the area) please use this link.

Secondary Admissions 2027

If your child is in Year 6 you should apply for their secondary school place between 8th September 2026 and 31st October 2026. Please see the Derbyshire County Council Secondary Admissions page for more information.
